• Why does The Caravan require my support?

    Our editorial independence is integral to the journalism we do at The Caravan. It enables us to speak truth to power, empower diverse voices and bring you stories that might otherwise go unreported in the mainstream media. As we are not answerable to political or corporate interests, we depend on the support of our readers to ensure The Caravan’s financial and editorial independence.

  • What are the different ways I can make a contribution to The Caravan?

    All contributions to The Caravan must be made through the contributions page at caravanmagazine.in. You have the choice to make one-time, monthly, annual or recurring contributions.

  • What is the least amount I can contribute to The Caravan?

    You can make a contribution of as low as Rs 250 to The Caravan. Every contribution, however small or large, will go towards covering our editorial costs and will help keep our journalism independent.

  • Do I get anything in return for my contribution?

    A one-time contribution of over Rs1,999 will activate a one-year digital subscription. For recurring contributions, a one-year digital subscription will be activated if and when the cumulative amount exceeds Rs 1,999 within a 12-month period.
    Making a contribution can be an additional way to support our journalism in addition to purchasing a subscription. We welcome contributions from existing subscribers. If you would like to purchase a subscription, please visit our subscription page.

  • Do I have to share PAN details to make a contribution?

    No, you are not required to share your PAN card details to make a contribution.

  • Is my personal information safe?

    When you make a contribution to The Caravan, you are agreeing to share some personal identifying information. We do not sell or trade your information in any form to any third parties. The information you share is stored securely in accordance with international standards of information security.   • What are the different modes of payment I could use to make a contribution?

    You can pay via credit/debit card, UPI, digital wallets or net-banking.

  • Is my contribution to The Caravan tax-free?

    No, your contribution to The Caravan is not tax-free.
