Mark Rathinaraj is a prolific artist who adheres to the Madras Art Movement. His paintings centre on the rustic beauty of rural life (especially that of South India). A product of the College of Fine Arts, Kumbakonam, he has had several solo shows in Chennai, Bangalore and abroad.
