Supported by the Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi, and edited by the curator of Alkazi Foundation for the Arts, Rahaab Allana, PIX is a photography quarterly that investigates and engages with contemporary photographic practices in India and South Asia. Each issue of the magazine revolves around a theme, and the next one is ‘Sri Lanka’. Titled Metamorphoses, the upcoming issue of PIX will be an exploration of the change and transition evident not only in the social and political history of Sri Lanka but also its expanding cultural life, as seen at the recent Colombo Biennial. The team currently invites submissions within the framework of the theme.
Metamorphoses: Pix, submissions accepted until 15 July. For more information, visit www.pixquarterly.in
