“We are here after visiting five hospitals,” Geeta Negi, the sister-in-law of a 55-year-old patient, said. “Where has the government disappeared? Where has everyone gone?” A month into the worst of the COVID-19 second wave in India, little has improved in Delhi. Families are being turned away from government hospitals that are full and have no oxygen reserves.
