कारवां बातचीत के इस एपिसोड में सेंटर फॉर पॉलिसी रिसर्च के सीनियर फेलो और येल यूनिवर्सिटी के विजिटिंग लेक्चरर सुशांत सिंह ने भारत-चीन सीमा में तनाव के शांत होने के बाद की स्थिति पर चर्चा की. बीस साल तक भारतीय सेना में रहे सिंह ने बताया कि चीन जिस तरह से भारत पर दबाव बना रहा है वह देश के लिए खतरनाक स्थिति है. सुशांत ने बताया कि चीन ने सीमा पर यथास्थिति को परमानेंटली बदल दिया है. यानी जो स्थिति अप्रैल 2020 में थी, डिसएंगेजमेंट के बाद उस स्थिति में नहीं लौटा गया है और चीन के नियंत्रण में अब 2020 अप्रैल से अधिक क्षेत्रफल है और भारत को अपने दावे वाले क्षेत्र को भी छोड़ना पड़ा है.
